Descriptions | Microporous Insulation is high performance thermal insulating material, with a porous structure based on chains of amorphous fumed silica, agglomerates of particles from 7 to 12nm in size. It also contains special opacifiers for minimizing infrared radiation, and inorganic fibers. Usually used to improve insulating performance so that surface temperature of device can be reduced and more energy can be saved. They can also be used for reducing the thickness of necessary insulation, so that more free space can be created. |
